Junior Lokosa says he is excited to have received the maiden Eunisell Boot Award and a sum of N3.8m for emerging top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) last season.
The Kano Pillars forward scored 19 goals to finish as top scorer in the NPFL in the 2017/2018 campaign.
Each of the goal scored by Lokosa was valued at N200,000 by Eusinell, a leading global chemical, and specialty fluid management company.
Lokosa was named in Nigeria’s provisional squad for the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup and is one of the five players in the stand-by list for the Super Eagles 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games against South Africa and the friendly against the Cranes of Uganda.
