Jurgen Klopp January Transfer Plan Changes Due To Three Players

Liverpool may alter their transfer stance in the January window after the returns of T Thiago Alcantara, Xherdan Shaqiri and James Milner.

That is the opinion of former Premier League striker Kevin Phillips, who believes Thiago is one of the best players in the world.

And Jurgen Klopp has had to do so without a number of key players such as Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Thiago.

As well as the Spaniard, Milner and Shaqiri have also returned to fitness to give Klopp further options in midfield.

And that could signal a change in the Liverpool manager's thinking, says Phillips, ahead of the January transfer window.

“Those three coming back might sway Klopp’s thinking before the January window,” he told Football Insider.

“He may feel that he does not need to dip into it too much now. It might just be one or two.
