Juventus boss Max Allegri has disclosed how he will be making use of Cristiano Ronaldo this season.
Ronaldo made the surprising move from Real Madrid to Juventus earlier this summer, agreeing to a four-year deal with the Serie A giants.
Juve haven't tasted European glory since 1996, and they hope that the former Manchester United star could propel the Old Lady to success in the Champions League.
Allegri steered clear of mentioning the famous competition when explaining how he plans to use Ronaldo this season.
“We spoke about the happiness in which he was welcomed and of his decision, but it was in the middle of his vacation and we didn't speak of football.
“Ronaldo will play where he has always played, in the front third. And he will score goals as he always has,” Allegri said.
Ronaldo has an amazing goal record during his career, scoring at least 40 times in all but one season at Real.
Last campaign saw him score15 Champions League goals, though he failed to score in the semi-finals or final.
He is moving to a Juventus side that have dominated Serie A, winning the league for each of the previous seven seasons.
