Karim Benzema’s Former Agent Slams Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane

Benzema's Former Agent Slams Raphael Varane

Karim Benzema’s former agent slammed the Real Madrid’s team-mate Raphael Varane for his part in the Spanish giants’ latest disaster.

Zinedine Zidane saw his side lose 4-1 to Valencia, conceding three penalties to the La Liga side.

After Madrid’s star forward opened the scoring on 23 minutes, it was not long before the first penalty was given away.

But then it became a bad day for Varane, who sliced the ball into his own net two minutes before half time to give Valencia the lead.

He tried to intercept a cross from Maxi Gomez – but the centre-back ended up hitting it up in the air from six yards out over Thibaut Courtois.

And Karim Djaziri, who represented Madrid’s star forward for 15 years earlier in his career, held nothing back in his say on Twitter.

He wrote: “Since the Manchester City match, [Varane] has been a shadow of himself.”

Madrid’s loss means they are four points off the top of the table, with just one game in hand on leaders Real Sociedad.
