Abdalla has already visited Katsina to engage with the leadership of The Changi Boys with a view to taking over from coach Abdullahi Biffo after the club barely survived relegation.

Biffo’s contract at Katsina United is not likely to be renewed.

Abdalla himself kindled speculations over his future at Enyimba when he said he was uncertain about what next for him after he led Enyimba to win the NPFL championship playoffs in Lagos.

He said he could take up a fresh challenge or go back to school to improve his coaching badges.

He led Enyimba to reach the semi-final of last year’s CAF Confederation Cup as a stopgap coach replacing Paul Aigbogun, who resigned to concentrate on his Flying Eagles role.
