Super Eagles Head coach, Gernot Rohr in an interview with the media expressed delight over Kenneth Omeruo recent form in the Spanish League.
“I am really impressed with his performances, playing against a team like Athletico Madrid and he was able to stay defensively focused and consistent that shows his great quality as a defender.
“His performance is a good development for the super eagles and also for the team as well.
“We hope he continues in that manner, for me that gives a stiff competition in the first line of the super eagles of Nigeria.”
Rohr concluded by saying we have an improved defence line than we did at the Russia 2018 world cup.
