To Liverpool's frustration, the Bayern Munich winger has since been given the all clear to play at Anfield on Tuesday evening.

Jurgen Klopp would have hoped to face the German outfit without Kingsley Coman, given the injury problems that are currently facing the Reds' defence.

The Reds' boss will be hoping to get the last-16 off to a flying start and gain an early advantage in the two-legged tie.
