Star defender Van Dijk missed Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Bayern Munich and Klopp says it is a relief to have him back despite keeping a clean sheet in the Champions League last-16 first leg tie.

‘Very, like he always is,' Klopp responded when asked how important it was to have Van Dijk back in his pre-match press conference on Friday.

Liverpool arrive training and looked in good spirits ahead of one of the biggest games of the season.

The Reds sit level on points with City but have a game in hand on Pep Guardiola's men.
