Klopp Names Two Liverpool Players Who’ll Miss Chelsea Clash

Liverpool will be missing at least one player for Saturday's blockbusting Premier League clash against Chelsea at Anfield.

James Milner will be missing in action this weekend – but Andy Robertson is in contention for a first start of the campaign.

Milner hasn't recovered from the knock that forced him out of last Saturday's triumph over Burnley.

Robertson, meanwhile, twisted his ankle in the friendly against Athletic Bilbao earlier in the month.

And Jurgen Klopp revealed the Scotland international will now challenge Kostas Tsimikas for the left-back role when Chelsea visit on Saturday evening.

The Reds boss, speaking to liverpoolfc.com, said:

“Robbo trained the whole week, of course he (is) in contention, no doubt about that,” said the Reds boss

“Millie will not be ready – I think that's it pretty much.

“All the rest trained and looked good and sharp – we should better be because obviously, Chelsea is a tough one as well. That's already kind of like the Champions League, just in the Premier League!”
