Jurgen Klopp has disclosed the one simple thing he hopes to do when he finally leaves his post as Reds manager.

Fans of the club have been left awestruck by some of the football played out by their team on the stadium's hallowed turf since Klopp's arrival.

It's a feeling that the German boss hopes he can experience with them in the years to come.

Speaking to the Mail about Anfield's famous Kop grandstand, Klopp said: “I always wanted to stand one time at Dortmund in the Yellow Wall and so far it has never happened because I was too short of time. But I would do exactly the same here.”

Klopp joined the Reds after a successful eight-year spell as manager of Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

Despite a poor Liverpool performance, Klopp refused to blame his players, instead of giving another bizarre excuse.

Klopp's team then return from the international break with a crunch clash against Tottenham, which could prove crucial in their charge for a first Premier League title.
