Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has contended that he is yet to speak to Tammy Abraham concerning pledging his international future to the Super Eagles of Nigeria rather than England.

Lampard made this known after Chelsea’s  5-2 victory over Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday.

When quizzed by reporters if Abraham is going to Nigeria, Lampard said: ”I'm yet to speak to him regarding that”.

He added: ”The rate at which he [Abraham] is going, he is going to be in that bracket. To score seven goals in three matches. That's fantastic of him. He needs to continually be hungry for goals and keep playing at that level.”

Nigeria Football Federation president [NFF], Amaju Pinnick had earlier advised Abraham to pick Nigeria since he stands a better chance of playing regularly for the Super Eagles.

Abraham’s international future continues to be a subject of conversation among pundits and coaches because of his eligibility to play for either the Super Eagles or Three Lions.
