Chelsea will look to return to winning ways when they host Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
And Frank Lampard has been provided a huge boost as the Chelsea boss confirmed Christian Pulisic is in line to make his first appearance of the season.
“Pulisic is in the squad for tomorrow,” Lampard confirmed. “He won't start, it's great to have him back. “
Meanwhile, Hakim Ziyech is closing in on his competitive Chelsea debut, but that now looks set to come after the international break as he continues his recovery from an injury picked up in pre-season.
On Ziyech, Lampard said: “Ziyech is getting closer but not close enough to be on the bench.”
Along with Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, Ziyech and Pulisic give Lampard his full compliment of forward players.
There have been questions as to how the Blues boss will fit all of his stars in, but he is confident they will all help each other to settle in.
