Leeds United planning to loan Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman

Leeds United have reportedly shown interest in securing the loan signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman.

On Saturday morning, Leeds confirmed that they had brought in fellow Chelsea player Lewis Baker on a season-long contract and it seems that the Yorkshire giants have approached Chelsea as regards a second potential arrival.

According to Sky Sports News, Leeds want to fortify between the sticks this summer and that has resulted in a loan offer being made for Blackman.

The 24-year-old has never made a first-team appearance for the Blues but during the last campaign, 31 Championship appearances were made for Leeds' rivals Sheffield United.

Leeds have previously sold Felix Wiedwald, leaving an opening for another keeper to act as competition for youngster Bailey Peacock-Farrell and the skilled Andy Lonergan.
