According to The Mirror, RB Leipzig are on the lookout for replacements for Timo Werner and Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham has been identified as a target.
Abraham has spent the season on loan in the Championship with Aston Villa and has been influential for Dean Smith’s side.
From 37 appearances in the Championship, he has scored on 25 occasions. He helped his team reach the play-off final on Tuesday evening as he scored the decisive penalty in a shootout victory over West Brom.
The striker is expected to return to Stamford Bridge at the expiration of his loan deal this summer, but clubs from across Europe seem to be gathering.
Previous reports had it that Bundesliga outfit Leipzig were ready to spend £30 million on landing Abraham, and claims by The Mirror indicate that their interest remains strong.
An intriguing summer awaits the front-man, but for now, he will be focused on the task at hand as Villa target a return to the Premier League.
Abraham is a quality forward who clearly has an eye for goal, and Chelsea must make the most of his potential.
