Nigeria are just one match away from booking a ticket to Cameroon 2019 after overcoming Libya 3-2 on Tuesday in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Sfax, Tunisia.
Odion Ighalo scored his fourth goal in two games against Libya when he opened the floodgate of goals in the 13th minute with a simple tap-in before Ahmed Musa increased the Eagles' goal tally to two with another simple finish.
The Libyans reduced the scoreline in the 33rd minutes before leveling score to 2-2 in the 74th minutes.
Still, Ighalo went on to restore Nigeria's lead in the 81st minute to earned the Super Eagles the maximum point ahead of their mouth-watering clash against South Africa in November.
Nigeria are on nine points topping the group while South Africa are on eight points in second place.
The game in the Madiba land will determine which team stays atop Group E.
