Paris Saint-Germain's latest signing, Lionel Messi, has revealed when his first game for the club will be.
The French giants will play Strasbourg at home in Ligue 1 on Saturday before travelling to Brest next Friday.
PSG will then play Reims later on August 29 before the first international break of the season.
And the six-time Ballon d’Or winner was asked when he could play his first game for the club and he said:
“I’m going to begin training but I can’t exactly answer your question. When the staff think I’m okay, I’m ready and willing to play.
“I was on holiday and it’s very new so I spoke yesterday with the technical staff. Maybe I need a pre-season myself.
“I don’t know.”
The bottom line is that Messi could make his PSG debut this weekend when the Parisians host Strasbourg on Saturday night.
