Goals from Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri were all that was needed to set Liverpool to a comfortable 2-0 victory over struggling Fulham at Anfield.
Salah struck five minutes before half-time, just seconds after Aleksandar Mitrović saw a goal of his own disallowed for offside before Shaqiri wrapped up three points with a volley eight minutes after the restart.
The Reds move top, one point ahead of Manchester City who will play Manchester United later today, while the Cottagers remain rooted to the bottom.
