Liverpool Advise La Liga duo to forget about signing Mohamed Salah

Liverpool FC have told both FC Barcelona and Real Madrid that Mohamed Salah is not for sale, according to a report in Spain.

Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Liverpool are having to fight off interest from the Spanish pair in the current transfer window.

The same article says that Salah has pledged his loyalty to Liverpool but that hasn’t dissuaded FC Barcelona or Real Madrid from testing Liverpool’s resolve this summer.

According to the same source, the Merseyside outfit have made it clear to the two La Liga clubs that Salah is not for sale at any price whatsoever in the summer transfer window.

Salah scored 32 times in the Premier League last season to win the PFA player of the year award finishing ahead of Harry Kane in the goal-scoring charts.

The Liverpool forward scored 10 times in the Champions League to help the Reds reach their first European Cup final since 2007.

The Merseyside outfit lost 3-1 to Real Madrid in the Kiev showpiece after Salah suffered a dislocated shoulder in the first half of the game.

Liverpool finished in fourth place in the Premier League table.
