Liverpool want to hijack Watford’s move for Fluminense starlet Joao Pedro, Brazilian reports claim.
As per Globo Esporte, the Reds are attempting to sign Pedro, despite the 17-year-old already agreeing a deal with the Hornets.

The report claims Watford have agreed to sign the rising star for €10m, but payment of €20m can breach that contract.
Liverpool watched Pedro score an incredible hat trick on Thursday night, per Scouts in Attendance, who also says the Anfield outfit have enquired about trumping Watford’s move.
Merseyside already has one ex-Fluminense star, and he scored 14 goals for Everton last season, but Richarlison’s numbers at the Brazilian club don’t even come close to Pedro’s.
In 44 matches, the ex-Hornet and current Toffee scored 11 goals. Pedro’s Thursday's hat trick took his tally to seven goals in the famous green and red stripes, despite only playing a total of 170 minutes in his senior career.
That comes out at a frankly ridiculous goal every 34 minutes, and thus it is no shock to see Liverpool sniffing around a likely deal.

€20m, or £17.6m, is an incredible amount of money for a player with so little senior experience, but Michael Edwards has made a habit of locating transfer gems at Liverpool.
