Liverpool are set to become one of two Premier League clubs prepared to activate the €88million release clause for Athletic Bilbao forward Iñaki Williams.
According to ESPN FC report, Atletico Madrid are interested in the 24-year-old but are reluctant to meet the £77million asking price.

And it now seems that two clubs in England’s top flight are keen on Williams, who can play on the wing or up front.
The Reds have been linked with Williams for a while and will need to bolster their attacking options with Daniel Sturridge set to leave next month once his contract runs down.
Williams would be the perfect replacement – he bagged 15 goals last season for Bilbao, helping them to an 8th-place finish in La Liga.

The Spaniard is under contract until 2025, though any club can enter negotiations for him if his release clause is activated.
