Liverpool have allegedly made an offer to get Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida to sign for the club.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is at present in the process of strengthening his first-team squad and though the main focus seems to be on the final third, there is apparently a need to improve at the back.
According to Turkish outlet Aksam, Liverpool have resolved to lodge an offer in the region of £13m for Vida, who is presently representing Croatia at the 2018 World Cup.
Vida – who can play across the defence – is only six months into a long-term contract with Besiktas but a summer sale is not out of the question.
Everton, Leicester City and Watford have also been linked with the 29-year-old, who has won 62 caps for Croatia.
