Liverpool are all set to meet the release clause of Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gómez, The Guardian reports.
Gómez is the subject of much transfer rumour after netting 13 La Liga goals this season, making it a total of 30 in two seasons for the Balaidos.
The 22-year-old forward, who has been branded the “next Luis Suarez”, is a Uruguay international with a fondness for poaching a goal in the box.
According to The Guardian, Liverpool, Tottenham and West Ham are all primed to meet his £43million release clause this summer.

Celta Vigo may be forced to release him for less if they are relegated at the end of the season, but it is possible they will survive the drop.
