Liverpool have been linked with Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech.
Ziyech is said to have a €30 million release clause in his contract – a figure that has attracted many clubs across Europe.
However, according to reports in Italy, as quoted on Inside Futbol, Ajax do not add release clause into player’s contract as club policy.
With reports now stating there is no release clause in Ziyech’s contract, his agent and the club have been left to agree on how much the player is worth.
The report also says that the two parties have entered an agreement of a €30 million asking price.
With no release clause available, Ajax would be able to hold out for a higher fee for the player.
Various clubs have shown their interest in the winger who scored 19 goals for Ajax last season, playing a pivotal role in their journey to the Champions League semi-final.
