The former Atletico Madrid star has been missing from action as a result of injury and he is in the final year of his contract at the Etihad, with Inter Milan looking to snap him up.
According to Calcio Mercato, they are prepared to offer Aguero a two-year contract.
And City could be prepared to let the Argentine go without a fight as they make room for the six-time Ballon d'Or winner.
