Manchester City have concluded plans to hijack Manchester United’s transfer plans for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
GoalBall understands that Pep Guardiola has readied a mega £86million (€100m) bid during the January transfer window.
This is a move Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ed Woodward were reportedly close to sealing before talks stalled.
And now according to Portuguese newspaper Correio de Manha, City have entered the race to sign 25-year-old Fernandes.
