Reigning Premier League champions, Manchester City have reportedly risen planning for a 21,000-capacity stadium to be built next to the Etihad.
City announced their £200million Etihad Campus back in December 2014.
And now they are looking to get the go-ahead for a new stadium worth £300m, which will hold concerts, NBA games and UFC showdowns, according to The Sun.
Meetings with the public reportedly commenced last week and the construction, if approved, is set to take close to three years to finish.
It is also claimed that Manchester City Council has already given its support to the project.
Pep Guardiola's side defeated Atalanta 5-1 in the Champions League group stage on Tuesday night.
