Manchester United’s prevailing biggest issue in the summer transfer window is the situation about Paul Pogba who recently declared that he wants a “new challenge” and hinted at leaving Old Trafford ahead of the next season.
But, the Red Devils are reportedly keen on keeping the midfielder at Old Trafford and will offer him £500,000-a-week to convincePogba to stay at the club, according to Daily Mail.

That will be a huge hike from his £290,000-a-week contract that he currently has at United, which he signed when he joined in 2016.
Pogba is a target for Juventus and Real Madrid, who are keen on signing the 26-year-old who has not had the impact that many at Old Trafford would have desired.
Madrid, in fact, have made a £90 million bid for the Frenchman, with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane known to be a big fan of the player.
Pogba’s five-year contract that he signed in 2016 expires in 2021 but the Red Devils have the option to extend the contract by a year.
Is this a wise decision to offer him a new contract?
The French midfielder no longer wants to stay at Old Trafford and it’s time to let go of him rather than offer him a massive contract.

Ole Gunnar Solskaer's side should demand transfer fees of over £100 million and find a replacement for Pogba, while also strengthening other areas of the pitch.
