Man Utd Plotting Summer Move For 30-Year-Old World Class Forward As Lukaku Replacement

Robert Lewandowski Man United move

Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a transfer coup for Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski to bolster their attack in the summer.

The Red Devils are dreaming big in terms of replacing Romelu Lukaku up front.

The Bayern Munich striker could be influenced by a change of scenery after spending five seasons with the Bundesliga champions.

The Polish international got the Top Goalscorer title in Bundesliga once again, this time with 22 league goals to his name and has achieved the feat on three more occasions in the German top-flight.

After steering Bayern Munich to another Bundesliga title, the striker might want a new challenge, something the Red Devils are looking to present.

Chelsea to sign Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski

Romelu Lukaku is tipped to be on his way out of Old Trafford, with Inter Milan the apparent destination.

While United seem to have shortlisted Moussa Dembele, there is no gainsaying the fact that Robert Lewandowski would be an upgrade on every attacking option Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has at his disposal.

The 30-year-old though could be a big gamble, like Alexis Sanchez. The Polish international would warrant enormous wages to compensate for switching from Bayern Munich to Old Trafford that will not be plying their trade in the Champions League in 2019-20 at least.

So, Lewandowski might be a viable option businesswise and holds great value for United as a brand.
