Huddersfield Town did all they could this evening but still suffered defeat at the hands of Manchester United.
The match at Old Trafford was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first at home as caretaker manager of the Red Devils and Namaja Matic and Paul Pogba made sure it was a winning one.
The result, coupled with events elsewhere, leaves Town bottom of the table at the half-way stage in the campaign.
