According to Norwegian outlet Dagbladet, Manchester United want to sign two players before the window closes – including Jadon Sancho.
The report states Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has apparently got involved in the negotiations and recently called English wonderkid Sancho to reassure him that the deal will be done soon, but that there were difficulties preventing its completion at the moment.
United are believed to be trying to raise funds before pulling the trigger on a bid for Sancho, with numerous players expected to leave before the deadline of October 5th.
Ian McGarry of the Transfer Window Podcast claims the Red Devils are planning to wait until the end of the window before making their move.
He said: “United believe that if they leave the final negotiation until the final week of the window, that Dortmund – who don’t have any offers for the player and want to maximise their profits – will cave in and agree to the terms that United have already offered.’’
