Man Utd Make Demand Known To Harry Kane After Transfer Inquiry

Manchester United will reportedly demand Harry Kane makes the first move in order to pursue their transfer interest in the striker.

The Red Devils are keen on a move and according to The Athletic, an enquiry was already put to the club in recent weeks to determine their interest in Kane.

Whilst they are keen and willing to sanction a hefty financial move whilst they have the chance, United need the England star to make it clear he wants an Old Trafford switch in order to push through any deal.

Kane, who has also been linked with Juventus and Real Madrid, would cost a hefty fee of around £150million, which would represent almost 75% of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's transfer budget if they qualify for the Champions League.

Although Kane is not on Solskjaer's shortlist, the club would not pass up the opportunity to sign the prolific front-man, although it could have implications for other deals and mean compromises are made elsewhere.

Despite interest from elsewhere, England legend John Barnes has advised Kane he should stay at Spurs to help them win trophies.
