Manchester United are planning a very busy summer transfer window in its final month.
The club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is working on getting rid of five players in the summer transfer window.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have been relatively quiet in the summer transfer window so far.
The Red Devils main transfer priority has been trying to bring Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford.
But the asking price of £108million proved to be a sticking point with Borussia Dortmund standing firm.
United remain hopeful of signing Sancho ahead of the October 5 transfer deadline.
As well as bringing in new faces like Donny van de Beek though, United are desperate to sell on a number of fringe players.
According to ESPN, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Andreas Pereira and Sergio Romero are all up for sale.
Their wage demands have been holding up negotiations, but they will likely need to accept a pay cut in order to secure a move away from Old Trafford.
United are hoping more player sales will help fund their transfer kitty.
