Manchester United could reportedly be willing to sell Paul Pogba if they get a transfer fee of about £150million this summer.
It appears the Red Devils are prepared for this occurrence, having made a list of three possible replacements earlier in this transfer window.
This is according to the Evening Standard, who list those three players as Monaco’s Youri Tielemans, Leicester City’s James Maddison and Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen.
The same report claims £150m could be sufficient for the Red Devils to sell the France international, and that should give them enough to sign one of those three stars as his replacement.
According to The Daily Mirror, Eriksen could cost £100m to sign from rivals Tottenham, and they said he’d be interested in the move to Old Trafford.
The Standard claim he could cost less than that owing to his contract situation.
Maddison would seemingly be cheaper, with the Independent linking him with MUFC for about £60m.
Tielemans, meanwhile, could be a real bargain, costing just £36m if United are successful with that bid as reported by DH.
Red Devils’ fans would seemingly be satisfied with any of them, with Eriksen the most proven at his level and thereby the most costly, but with the other two outstanding young talents seemingly available for very fair prices.
