Reports in Germany confirms Manchester United have made an enquiry for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski as the Polish frontman continues to stall on contract talks.

Bayern, who are one draw away from winning a seventh straight title, have been trying to get Lewandowski to commit his future to the club for much of the season.

However, their star man is believed to have doubts about remaining at Munich after a testing campaign.

German publication Kicker reports that the Bundesliga giants will make one final attempt to get the 30-year-old to sign a contract extension after the DFB-Pokal Cup final against RB Leipzig on May 25.

Lewandowski’s current deal expires in 2021 and Bayern hope to extend it by a further year, though the Poland international has a different perspective.

Enquiries from both United and PSG and is known to him and is considering whether he wants to remain at Bayern.
