Manchester United should forget about signing Barcelona ace Philippe Coutinho and target two other deals, that’s what Danny Murphy feels.
According to Express Sport, Manchester United will splash the cash this summer and Red Devils executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is willing to back Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the transfer window.

United have been heavily linked with a move for former Liverpool star Coutinho, who has struggled to impress for Barca.
Pundit Murphy has told the Red Devils to stop thinking about landing Coutinho, claiming Solskjaer needs to sign a new centre-half and a central midfielder first.
Murphy also reckons Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld, who was tipped to join United last summer, would be the perfect signing for the Red Devils.
“While the Old Trafford tourists will turn up to see Messi and the boo-boys will have Luis Suarez in their sights, I'll be interested to see what impact Philippe Coutinho has,” the former Liverpool midfielder wrote in his Daily Mail column.
“Coutinho has been linked with a move to United because his transfer from Liverpool hasn't worked out as well as expected.
“My view is United have more pressing priorities than the Brazilian, namely a midfield playmaker to finally replace Michael Carrick and a defensive leader in the mould of Virgil van Dijk – maybe Toby Alderweireld.”
The Brazilian has been vocal on his Barcelona future amid rumours linking him with a return to the Premier League, with Coutinho claiming he wants to stay at the Nou Camp.
