Man Utd Vs Newcastle: Confirmed Lineups Are Out

Manchester United will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they take on Newcastle United tonight (Sunday) at Old Trafford in matchweek 25.

After looking like potential title challengers, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have won just one of their last five league games, allowing Manchester City to open up a ten-point lead at the top, which could be 13 by the time United’s game kicks off.

But the performance in the 4-0 win over Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League earlier this week will have lifted the morale within the squad.

The Magpies, meanwhile, are dawdling just above the drop zone, with Steve Bruce’s men only a few points clear of 18th placed Fulham.

Newcastle United head into tonight’s game on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea but having managed to get the better of the likes of Everton and Southampton over the past few weeks, they will back themselves to cause an upset this weekend.

Man Utd Vs Newcastle Lineup

Man Utd XI (4-2-3-1): De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelöf, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Matić, James, Fernandes, Rashford, Martial

Newcastle XI (4-1-2-1-2):   Darlow, Krafth, Lascelles, Clark, Lewis, Willock, Hayden, Shelvey, Almirón, Joelinton, Saint-Maximin
