Manchester United will not be having four first-team players with them when they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers tomorrow.
The Red Devil’s 2-1 victory over Watford on Saturday moved us United on points with Tottenham Hotspur, but they are only one point above Gunners and the Blues as the four of them battle it out for the final two Champions League places.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference today, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed he has a couple of injuries to deal with heading to Molineux.
The boss confirmed that Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia, Alexis Sanchez and Matteo Darmian will all miss out again through injury just as they did on Saturday.
The Norwegian said that Victor Lindelof has been back in training and should be ready to face Wolves Tuesday.
“Victor has had a good few days of training now so he'll be ready. Apart from that, [Matteo] Darmian and Eric [Bailly] are still out. [Antonio] Valencia is still out and Alexis Sanchez is still out. But it's a good strong squad.”.
Further positive news is that Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku are both fit for tomorrow's trip having only just returned from injuries over the weekend.
“Anthony and Romelu will both be ready for tomorrow, definitely, unless they break down in training today [Monday] but it looks good, yeah.”
