Jerome Boateng is now a potential transfer target for both Manchester City & Manchester United.
The Bayern Munich defender has established himself as a key part of the Bundesliga giants, but Boateng may be allowed to move to a new club at the end of the season.
According to The Sun, that has alerted both City and United, with City boss Pep Guardiola said to be enthusiastic on a reunion with a player that he worked with at the Allianz Arena.
The 29-year-old has already spent time at the Etihad Stadium, with 24 outings coming in all competitions during the 2010-11 campaign, though that is not likely to lessen the chances of a switch to Man. United.
Boateng still has over 3 years remaining on his contract, but Bayern could cash in should they get a major offer ahead of next season.
