Reports on Monday in Italy claim Manchester United made contact with the Serie A side over a move for £85m move Paolo Dybala.
As per La Gazzetta Dello Sport, United are now planning a swoop for team-mate Joao Cancelo, and have already opened talks with his agent, Jorge Mendes.
Cancelo was a target for United last summer but in the end, he chose to join the Bianconeri after a successful loan spell in Serie A with Inter Milan.
But he faded after a bright start to the season and might be left off for the right price with the Red Devils still keen.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side have reportedly tabled an opening bid of €50m which has been rejected by Juventus – although Matteo Darmian could be offered as a direct replacement to bridge the shortfall in funds.
That’s not all the swap deal touted to take place between the two sides, with Serie A-linked striker Romelu Lukaku being tipped to be part of a deal to secure Paolo Dybala’s signature.
The Red Devils are targeting reinforcements across their defence as Solskjaer eyes a summer remodel after missing out on the Premier League top four.
