Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi has signed a contract for two years with Turkish club Trabzonspor with an option for an additional year, according to 100% Mercato.
Mikel will be reunited with childhood friend Ogenyi Onazi at Trabzonspor.

The 32-year-old midfielder is a free agent after his loan spell at English Championship club Middlesbrough ended last season.
It is a reunion for Mikel and Onazi after they both started out at Jos academy El Kanemi.
Mikel, who has struggled to impress at the AFCON in Egypt, played for 10 years at Premier League club Chelsea as well as in China.
Trabzonspor will play in the UEFA Europa League in the coming season after they finished fourth in the Turkish Super Liga table last season.

Another Nigeria star, John Ogu, had previously been linked to the Ankara club.
