Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has one player in mind that he would be happy for Jurgen Klopp to buy during this summer’s transfer window.
Salah would love Klopp to buy Daniele De Rossi from Roma this summer, it’s been reported.
The 35-year-old is a good friend of former team-mate Salah, and the Egyptian would like to play with him again.
De Rossi is a legend of Italian football, and he’s one of the best that Salah has played with, he continued.
While he doesn’t know if it’s feasible to bring De Rossi to Anfield, he’d love to see him playing in the Premier League.
“He is a legend of the club and of Italian football, not just because he is a great friend of mine,” Salah told Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
“It would be pleasing for me to play with him again, he is an optimal player.”
The Italian veteran will depart Roma at the end of this season, after a glorious 18-year career at the club.
He made 459 appearances for Roma since he signed for the club in 2001, netting 43 goals.
De Rossi hasn’t signed with another club yet, but he’s believed to be interested in a move to the MLS.
