Mourinho Wants 5 Key Players Axed before taking Real Madrid Job

Man United will soon be back in the top four - José Mourinho

Jose Mourinho was sacked by Manchester United after a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool that put the Red Devils 19 points behind their rivals in the Premier League.

According to Gol Digital, the former Inter boss has already been in contact with Los Blancos president Florentino Perez.

Perez is purportedly considering Mourinho as a replacement for caretaker manager Santiago Solari, who will leave at the end of the season.

However, Mourinho has made demands about which players are deterring him from moving back to Spain.

Karim Benzema, Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Isco and Luka Modric are the supposed figures, all but Isco played during Mourinho’s 2010-2013 spell.

The issue is unlikely to revolve around the rift between Mourinho and the Real Madrid players that stemmed from his refusal to play Iker Casillas during the aforementioned period in charge of the club.
