Ndidi Earns Man Of The Match Vote In Tottenham Defeat

Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho were on parade on Sunday as Leicester City beat Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 away.

That win has now moved Brendan Rodgers and his men to the second spot on the Premier League log on 27 points, four points behind leaders Liverpool.

Ndidi played all 90 minutes in front of the back four and effectively neutralized Spurs and England star, Harry Kane and Son.

Thus, Ndidi was subsequently voted Man of the Match by Leicester fans.

The Super Eagles midfield enforcer scored 42 per cent of the vote cast to beat Vardy to second on 39 points. Fofana was a distant third on 12 points.

Iheanacho was a late substitute for Vardy in the 88th minute.
