New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri plans triple transfer swoop

Chelsea’s new head coach Maurizio Sarri has already marked down a triple transfer swoop for his new club, according to a report.

Sarri was confirmed as Antonio Conte's replacement on Saturday morning, signing a three-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

The 59-year-old Italian's arrival comes as the Blues are hoping to bounce back from their middling fifth-place finish in the Premier League last season.

According to The Express, Chelsea are in discussion with Juventus over central defender Daniele Rugani, having made an offer of £30m.

The report also alleges that former Napoli boss Sarri hopes to bring CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin as well as Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker to West London in the coming weeks.

Chelsea's first match of pre-season is on July 23 in a friendly with Australian club Perth Glory.
