A series of events have seen the Reds surprisingly linked with France star Kylian Mbappé recently.
It initially sprang back in May when the young Frenchman hinted at a move away from PSG “elsewhere with a new project”.

The news gathered steam on Saturday when respected Times journalist, Paul Joyce, retweeted a video of Mbappé’s first day of ‘vacation’ in the United States where he met with Liverpool minority shareholder and passionate Red, LeBron James.
That sent Liverpool’s imaginations running wild as some took it as a sure sign the Frenchman would be heading to Anfield in this transfer window.
As the newly-crowned Champions of Europe, the Reds have the pedigree to attract the likes of Mbappé but it appears very, very unlikely that a transfer like this would happen this summer.
Despite any other factors, the price alone is enough to dismiss the rumours.
If PSG shelled out that gigantic fee for him then, just imagine what the 20-year-old would cost now!

Liverpool tried to sign Mbappé back in 2017, but he opted for the move to the French capital from Monaco instead.
