Neymar Turns Down PSG’s New Contract Offer, ‘Says Yes’ To Barca Transfer

Neymar has made it known to Barcelona that he wants to return to the club, less than a year after failing to secure a move away from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish publication Sport reports that the Brazilian has rejected PSG's offer of a new contract – which he has stalled on since October.

The megastar has also communicated to Barcelona – via his entourage – that he once again wants to return to La Liga.

He will apparently do whatever he can to ensure he leaves PSG this summer for Barcelona, leaving the Catalan side with the difficult task of finding the money.

Last summer, the main stumbling block on a deal was the fact that Barca had already forked out £108million for Antoine Griezmann, and were short of cash to make a move.

Instead, they offered a series of instalment packages, as well as winger Ousmane Dembele.

But the difference this summer is that they know in advance that Neymar wants to return, meaning they can put his transfer at the top of their list of priorities for the summer window.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Quique Setien's side will offer up Philippe Coutinho and Dembele in an attempt to turn the tide in their favour and secure a deal.
