The 26-year-old joined the Ligue 1 leaders at the start of this season, but rumors quickly emerged and suggested that he was miserable in Paris & regrets his world-record switch from Barcelona.
According to his father, though, Neymar is only thinking about starring for the Ligue 1 leaders once he recuperates from injury.
“Neymar has a future at PSG. His present is also PSG,” Neymar’s father explained in a press conference in Brazil.
PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi as well emphasized Neymar's commitment to the club after visiting him in Rio de Janeiro, where he is recuperating after undergoing surgery on his metatarsal fracture.
Al Khelaifi said: “He is happy, very motivated and excited to come back as soon as possible. He is doing everything possible to return, we hope he will be back to play in the league and the cup this season.”
Neymar has netted 28 goals in just thirty games for PSG this season, as well as 6 in seven Champions League fixtures, but he’ll be out for the remainder of the season.
