Six new players have reportedly arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Austria ahead of the international friendly clash against Cameroon on Friday.
Kelechi Iheanacho, Oghenekaro Etebo, John Noble, Abraham Marcus, Emmanuel Anayo, and Abdullahi Shehu are the players who have arrived in Austria today.
The six players join William Troost-Ekong to increase the number of players in camp to seven.
Ekong was the first player to land at the team’s base on Monday.
Their arrival is a massive boost for Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr, who has been forced to deal with many withdrawals.
Victor Osimhen and six other players have already pulled out of the 24-man squad, leaving Rohr with just 18 players.
The Super Eagles take on the Indomitable Lions in a doubleheader friendly encounter, with the first match taking place on Friday before the second game on Tuesday.
Nigeria have met Cameroon 22 times, winning 11 times and losing just four games, with the rest ending in draws.
