Nigeria vs Libya: Atiku, Saraki react to Super Eagles' win

Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate for the 2019 election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, have added their voices to the Super Eagles 4-0 victory over Libya.

Libya fell to Nigeria by 4-0 in the African Cup of Nations qualifier match played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Saturday.

The match saw Odion Ighalo scoring his first hattrick for the Eagles, while Uche Kalu also found back of the net with a fine shot outside the eighteen-yard box.

With that win, Super Eagles have now won four matches.

Reacting to the victory, Atiku tweeted, “I congratulate our dear @NGSuperEagles for an outstanding performance with a resounding victory over Libya. Good job.”

Saraki tweeted, “Congratulations to our @NGSuperEagles on their brilliant performance in today’s AFCON qualifier match. #SoarSuperEagles.”
