Samuel Kalu officially moved over to French side Bordeaux coming from Belgium’s Gent after the two sides agreed to a five-year contract.
The Nigerian winger will be wearing the number 10 jersey and is set to replace Brazilian forward Maclom who just completed a move to Spanish giants Barcelona.
The 20-year-old’s performance last season helped put him under the radar as he was able to net six goals from 36 games he played with Gent and provided eight assists.
Before joining Gent in January 2017, Kalu was part of Slovak side AS Trencin which was his first club after leaving the GBS Academy in Nigeria.
